Cycling Safety – A Kids Parachute Event
Parachute is a not-for-profit agency advocating to reduce predictable and preventable injuries resulting from motor vehicle collisions, sports and recreation activities and seniors’ falls. This past May 27th, Century Gardens Recreation Centre hosted, “Buckle, Buckle, Buckle”, an Awareness Safe Kids Launch Event with Parachute. BikeBrampton was invited to provide programs and information on cycling safety.

CeleBrampton BikeFest 2016
CeleBrampton BikeFest opens Main Street downtown for people to celebrate the start of summer in the city. Jun 11th marked BikeBrampton’s 4th annual participation, educating residents on cycling safety, encouraging them to come out to Bike Month events like Bike the Creek, Brampton’s new Community Rides, and our series of Brampton Library Community Spotlight presentations.

PEYA Amazing Green Race 2016
BikeBrampton challenged Peel Environmental Youth Alliance’s Amazing Green Race students with the Bike Safety Intersection Game on May 21st at University of Toronto Mississauga. Environmental leaders of tomorrow sped through skill testing quizzes to advance to the next checkpoint via walking, cycling or taking transit.
