The November Brampton Cycling Advisory Committee meeting will be important. It will be dedicated to discussing the Active Transportation Master Plan.

Students that walk and bike to school can experience a number of benefits from this daily activity, including boosting their academic performance and improving their health. The Region of Peel’s School Bicycle Parking Program encourages Peel students to bike to and from school by providing safe and secure bicycle parking. Perfect autumn morning for BCAC’s last Brampton Community Ride of the season. Thirty cyclists gathered at Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre to cycle north to new Etobicoke Creek Trail link into Southfields Village, Caledon. We rested at Butter & Cup for our refreshment, compliments of City of Brampton. This was our 12th and final Community Ride in Brampton’s Cycling Advisory Committee’s first offering of organized rides. We added 2 bonus rides due to popularity of the series.
