Vivian Lane cycling murals
Critical Mass, Vivian Lane – Norbert Augustine’s famous cycling murals

We gather at Gage Park, SW corner of Main & Wellington on the last Friday of every month at 6:15pm. We set out at 6:30pm. We cycle to Franceschini bridge for an additional meet up at 7:00pm.

Join us — rain, shine, snow, light, dark… whatever the weather, we set out for a friendly bike ride! Helmets with chin straps fastened (required for riders under 18), safety vests, reflective clothing and accessories are encouraged. When the days are shorter, be sure your bike is outfitted with front and rear lights! Of course, we ride at our own risk.

This is a friendly ride of like-minded cyclists in Brampton and is not specifically organized by either BikeBrampton or Brampton Cycling Advisory Committee. Everyone is invited! No one is in charge! Bring your bike!

After the ride, we stop for tea, coffee or ice cream and catch up on local news and fun!

George said “burn fat, not oil” on our Critical Mass autumn ride.

Brampton installed some gorgeous Cycling Murals on Vivian Lane by local artist Norbert Augustine. How could we not celebrate Critical Mass with a special visit to the lane just off Main Street?

We celebrated our first Critical Mass anniversary with a delicious “calorie-free” cake! (well, sort of calorie-free!)

The dark days of November were no match for Brampton Critical Mass bike riders. We just turned on our lights!

September is a perfect month for cycling. Isn’t every month?
