They braved cold and rain for Manitou Park Community Picnic, Oct 24, 2015.
Organized by local residents, City of Brampton supported with tents, signs, games and a BBQ. Members from BikeBrampton came out to educate on cycling skills, distribute route maps and join the fun!
BikeBrampton promoted the Pedalwise program that just wrapped up after a summer of mentoring cyclists to feel comfortable navigating the streets and pathways of Brampton. Bikewrx trains bike mechanic skills to fix up used bikes for the community.

Defying the weather!
Thanks to Region of Peel Waste folks for demonstrating our new recycling, organics and waste bins!
Region of Peel Council recently voted to increase waste diversion target from 60% to 75%. We all have to do our part with donating reusable items, separating our recyclables and organics, to lower our contribution to landfill!
Running high!
Native shrub planting.
