BikeBrampton challenged Peel Environmental Youth Alliance’s Amazing Green Race students with the Bike Safety Intersection Game on May 21st at University of Toronto Mississauga. Environmental leaders of tomorrow sped through skill testing quizzes to advance to the next checkpoint via walking, cycling or taking transit. Ministry of Transportation Road Safety Challenge provided grant money for BikeBrampton to have the game the volunteers developed be produced. Bramalea CycleFest Kids Helmet Giveaway for 60 local youth It’s five days until Bramalea CycleFest 2015 and it’s time for the kids helmet giveaway evening! The van is crammed with about a dozen bikes from Brampton Safe City and the Peel Safety Village. Bike Brampton engaged students with a MTO Road Safety Challenge interactive game at the PEYA Amazing Green Race on May 23, 2015. The Amazing Green Race provided students in the Peel Region ( Peel Environmental Youth Alliance) with various resources and strategies to support the environment, sustainable commuting and healthy living.
