Free Brampton Community Rides are a series of casual cycling tours held from May to September. Led by Brampton Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) and BikeBrampton volunteers, these group rides provide opportunities for residents and visitors to explore Brampton on their bicycles, followed by a free refreshment, sponsored by City of Brampton.

Select your choice of 5 km or 15 km (slow or fast) route, depending on your comfort level. Select the shorter route if this is your first time or you are unsure about your abilities. Riders participating in the ride do so at their own risk and are required to agree to terms of the liability waiver before participating. Proper helmet use is strongly encouraged and is mandatory for those under 18. Parents have a duty to ensure helmet use for children under 16. Riders might be photographed for promotional purposes. Complimentary refreshment is provided to participants at the end or mid-point of the ride (depending on ride). Routes carefully planned and may be subject to change should situations arise. Pay attention to the Ride Leader, Marshall and Sweep. All riders must be present for the Brampton Community Rides Safety Briefing

City of Brampton’s complimentary refreshment is provided to registered participants. Volunteers will be available by request to escort participants from snack location back to meetup location.
Pre-registered riders will be contacted via text or email with 2 hours notice, should the ride be cancelled (eg. due to extreme weather eg. lightning).
