The Brampton Cycling Advisory Committee agenda for September 15, 2016 is available. Take a look!

No delegations or presentations are planned for this meeting.

Committee will receive Public Works Information, dated August 19, 2016, regarding the Implementation of Bicycle Lanes on Balmoral Drive. A report is included. The name of the report itself is a bit misleading. The report indicates the installation of “urban shoulders” — a space that is legal to cycle in, but also to park in. The idea is that they can be upgraded later to bicycle lanes if residents support it. In the meantime, this installation could be useful in connecting the new Dixie Rd. multi-use pathway to the recreation trail leading to Clark Park, toward Bramalea City Centre.
