BikeBrampton displays at CeleBrampton BikeFest on June 13, 2015 BikeBrampton set up our display booth showcasing an MTO Road Safety Challenge game, where participants answered questions related to the new Bill 31 Keeping Ontario’s Road Safe. Cyclists knew some of the answers and were surprised to learn new facts to keep them safe. There was great excitement when the players correctly answered the questions! Bike to School Week 2015 was held in Peel Region for the first time May 25-29th. One of our Bike Brampton members encouraged her child’s school to be one of the 22 schools of the 396 in Peel that participated. Out of a student population of over 700, there were only 10 to 15 kids (maximum of 27) who regularly rode to school. Bramalea CycleFest Jun 27, 2015 had a vision! Bike Brampton displayed at Rotary Rib n Roll Brampton on May 24, 2015 in Gage Park. Bike Brampton members challenged Rotary Rib n Roll Bramptonians to play the MTO Road Safety Challenge game to hone their cycling rules skills and learn about the new Bill 31 Making Ontario’s Roads Safer. Bike Brampton engaged students with a MTO Road Safety Challenge interactive game at the PEYA Amazing Green Race on May 23, 2015. The Amazing Green Race provided students in the Peel Region ( Peel Environmental Youth Alliance) with various resources and strategies to support the environment, sustainable commuting and healthy living. Bike the Creek Oakley’s planning ride video 2015. Oakley rode his WIKE trailer early spring for a planning ride along the Etobicoke Creek Trail. The Nature Ride route for Bike the Creek 2015 is one of two routes through Brampton and Caledon to explore our natural and cultural heritage.
