Brampton Critical Mass Autumn Ride

We gathered in the last rays of shorter days sun at Gage Park.
George suggests we “burn fat not oil”.
Cycling in downtown Brampton feels joyous with a great connection to the heritage of our city.
We signalled our intensions to turn left from Railside Drive.
We crossed the Mill Street tracks at the Brampton GO station.
A few more cyclists joined the group as we pedalled.
Back to Gage Park at Main & Wellington for stragglers and those who needed to leave early.
Let’s check out the new urban shoulders on McMurchy Avenue, between Queen and Steeles! This feels very comfortable for cycling!
Hooray for the City of Brampton Traffic! These sharrows will do the job for now.
We ascend the Wellington Street stairs with our bike lights turned on.
Back to Garden Square for a snack – ice cream for those warm and T by Daniel for those who are now cooler in the evening air!

Next month, we dress up in costume for our October 30th ride. Meet up at Gage Park at 6:15pm. We set out at 6:30. Bring your friends and your kids. We pace ourselves to our slowest rider! No one is left behind.
