Do you want to learn to ride a bike in Brampton?
Many adults rode bikes as children and want to catch the wave of cycling that is sweeping Brampton. But how to do it safely when you are rusty from decades off the wheels?
Brampton is offering three 2-hour “Learn How Bike Clinic” this summer:
July 8th, July 22nd, and August 5th at 6:30 p.m.
The clinics take place at the Chinguacousy Ski Chalet Community Centre and cost $57.65. These courses are designed for first time riders 18 and older.
You can register on-line , by phone 905-874-3388 or in person at virtually any of the city’s recreation centres.
Another option is to sign up for a private lesson from a Can-Bike instructor. Cost is $23.15/hour. Lesson times can be arranged by calling the Chinguacousy Park Sports office at 905-458-6555.
Once you are comfortable with basic cycling skills, come join us for a free “no rider left behind” critical mass ride. These rides take place starting from the north-east corner of Gage Park the last Friday of every month, meet at 6:15 p.m., ride at 6:30 p.m.
